Favorite Baby Essentials

2 months ago, I have birth to my second baby and have had start all over with the baby stuff because I moved. I found a lot of things that I didn't know about or didn't use before and I think they're all really good.


Diapers are the first thing. I found these special delivery diapers and were skeptical about the name. I thought it meant there was a difference in sizing but it really just means that they are made from plant based materials. I like these because they are super soft but if your baby tends to have more liquid poops (like breastfed babies) you will have to change them right away or I recommend you get the Huggies Little Snugglers.



Next thing is wipes. I like to alternate between Huggies natural care wipes and the Huggies cocoa and shea butter wipes. I  mainly use the natural ones because they are less likely to cause any type of allergic reaction but I do sometimes use the shea butter ones just for some extra love ❤️. 




For bathing, I like both the Honest shampoo & body wash and the Aveeno Baby wash & Shampoo. And for lotion after the bath I use the Aveeno Calming Baby lotion.




More things that I find I really like are this Bassinet that has rounded poles on the bottom so you can rock the baby and a net on top for if you need to keep anything from flying at your baby while they sleep. This Infantino Baby carrier is one of my little ones favorite things on this list. She loves the ability to be close to me while I move around and she often tasks asleep in it. And last item is this Fisher price infant to toddler rocker. She likes to just sit in there especially if she's just people watching around the house. It also has a vibrate function to help her get to sleep. They might not have the same exact styled one that I have but they still have the same model.

Good morning, ladies! So last time I posted about the skin care routine it was BYOMA set that I found to see if I'd like the brand. Since then, I have gone to buy full size products, and this is what I have in my routine today. (I put this in order of how I use them) I start off with creamy jelly cleanser and tri-ceramide complex, licorice root, and green tea. It's a great gentle cleanser so it won't be able to take off all of your make up in the first go. It has a good lather and doesn't have any irritating fragrances. Next, I go in with the hydrating serum it also has the Tri-ceramide complex but with this one has squalene and glycerin in it. I like this one because it goes into the skin really easy and smooths on real quick. It makes this nice hydrating layer. Running & Cardio | My Fitness Journey

Running and cardio has become a very integral part of my fitness routine. I run three times a week and then use the Stairmaster at least once a week, usually. I used to be horrible at running. I used to be incredibly slow. When I first started, the goal was always to run 2 miles, but it was also to run 2 miles quickly. When I started, I would run two miles in 23 minutes and some change, but my goal was to run two miles in 18 minutes and 30 seconds. It took me two months to hard training and injuring myself, but I eventually got to do it. For years after that, I still hated running, but I still had to do it. It wasn't until I took matters into my own hands that I was able to get better.  For years, I was made to train in groups who led the training based on their own abilities and just assumed that everybody else would be able to do it. Supplements | My Fitness Journey

When I started my fitness journey, I would try supplements here and there, but I wouldn't stick to any of them. I wasn't really keen on why I would need them and what they were good for. I would try protein powders and not like the taste and the kinds that we had were not even the optimal for me. And when I would try pre work, I would try them just for fun. The flavors were okay enough to be like "I can take this", but I never added it into my routine until years later. The first supplement that I would stick to somewhat is protein powder because I knew that you needed to feed the muscle for it to grow. So, I would add that in to help when I wasn't eating enough. More years later when I had issues getting the energy and the motivation to workout, I would add in some pre-workouts and there are a couple ones that I've tried that I liked and then there's some that I really did not like.
