My Makeup Staples (Oily Skin)
I've been wearing makeup for about 10 years. I have oily/combination skin so my goal is usually to balance the oil and make my skin look smooth and healthy without drying it out or clogging my pores.
Foundations & Powders
The foundation that I like to used for my quick easy makeup routine is Fit Me Shine free & Balance stick foundation. I like this because its quick to apply and i prefer to blend it either with a brush or my fingers because the texture isn't something that is easily spread by a sponge (damp or dry).
The foundation I use when I'm doing a full coverage look is the Fit Me Matte & Poreless from Maybelline. It blends easily, is buildable and you can easily layer product on top of and underneath of it. The shade range is also really good. When I want to do a super natural makeup look, I've started to opt for powder foundation since the shade range for most affordable bb and cc creams usually don't have a good color for me.
My current Powder foundation of choice is the Fit Me Matte & Poreless pressed powder foundation. I do not used the powder foundation to set concealers or liquid/ cream foundation. I apply it with a larger sized podwer brush and I can get light to almost medium coverage with it.
For setting foundation I use J.Cat Beauty Luxe Pro Powder. It's lightweight and doesn't look cakey unless you pile it on. I also use it to add a bit of brightness to my under eye and it looks really good under setting spray. I currently don't have a setting spray to recommend but I do use the e.l.f. Stay All Night Micro-Fine Setting Mist. It's not bad but the fragrance is so strong it could be irritating to sensitive skin or make it hard to breathe.
Concealers
The 2 concealers that I like to use are the Maybelline Fit Me Liquid Concealer and the LA Girl Pro Conceal HD concealer. I find that they both have really good coverage and set well under powder. They also have expansive shade ranges. I also use their concealers for contouring.
Eyes
For brows I have fallen in love with the Anastasia Beverley Hills Dipbrow gel which also comes in a Mini size. For me this does the job of filling in your brows and holding them in place. It looks really natural and its super easy to apply.
If you have sparse brows I would recommend the Maybelline Brow Extensions Fiber Pomade because it has Fiber in it to make your brows look like there's more hair.
For mascara, I mostly use the Maybelline full n soft Mascara and haven't found another one I like as much since they discontinued the L'oreal Miss Manga mascara.
I haven't been wearing a lot of eyeshadow recently but when I do I use the BH Cosmetics Hangin in Hawaii Pallette.
For eye liner I usually choose a liquid eye liner with a brush or felt tip. Lately, I go back and forth between the Wet n Wild Mega Last Breakup-Proof Liquid Eyeliner and the Lottie London Wing woman eyeliner.
Lips
For lips I like to use lip tints, glosses, lipsticks, and liquid Lipsticks. The lip tint that I have been enjoying lately is the ETUDE Dear Darling Water Gel Tint. It blends from more pigmented to sheer really easily.
The lip glosses that I have been using are the Sophia + Mabelle tinted lip oil and the Broadway Vita-Lip Clear Lip Gloss. They are both super moisturizing and last a while.
And lastly, the liquid lipsticks I like are Half Caked Lip Fondant Liquid Lipstick and Nicka K whipped lip gloss. Both are matte in texture when they dry and last a long time.
