Night Time Routine (with my kids)

My Night routine with my little ones usually starts oral hygiene and with putting on our headbands to keep water out of our hair/ our hair out of our face. We all brush our teeth. I encourage them to brush for 2 minutes and make sure she get every tooth. I also encourage the use of tongue scrapers because it helps with bad breath and follow it up mouthwash. I prefer an alcohol free fluoride rinse to help strengthen the teeth. 
Next, we wash out faces for my little ones I prefer to use a gentle baby wash to cleanse they're skin. I like to double cleanse with Micellar water and Clean & Clear Night time face wash. If have on a full face of makeup, I'll use makeup wipes before the Micellar water. I moisturize the little ones face with the shea moisture baby lotion (I just want something gentle and hydrating). 
Every other day we'll use a hydrating face mask. I use a Hyaluronic acid under eye face mask for me and my five year old (she likes it for fun) and use jade rollers on out faces before moisturizing. I like using the Shea moisture daily hydration face lotion as my overnight moisturizer. I also like to use a lip sleeping mask when my lips have been particularly dry or when I haven't been quite as hydrated as I'd prefer. 
We'll either put on PJs before or after the routine but usually we'll watch some Bluey and then I'll put them to sleep. 
It's been more difficult since I've had the new baby but I feel like it's an important bonding for me and the older kids so I try to sneak it in.

Good morning, ladies! So last time I posted about the skin care routine it was BYOMA set that I found to see if I'd like the brand. Since then, I have gone to buy full size products, and this is what I have in my routine today. (I put this in order of how I use them) I start off with creamy jelly cleanser and tri-ceramide complex, licorice root, and green tea. It's a great gentle cleanser so it won't be able to take off all of your make up in the first go. It has a good lather and doesn't have any irritating fragrances. Next, I go in with the hydrating serum it also has the Tri-ceramide complex but with this one has squalene and glycerin in it. I like this one because it goes into the skin really easy and smooths on real quick. It makes this nice hydrating layer. Running & Cardio | My Fitness Journey

Running and cardio has become a very integral part of my fitness routine. I run three times a week and then use the Stairmaster at least once a week, usually. I used to be horrible at running. I used to be incredibly slow. When I first started, the goal was always to run 2 miles, but it was also to run 2 miles quickly. When I started, I would run two miles in 23 minutes and some change, but my goal was to run two miles in 18 minutes and 30 seconds. It took me two months to hard training and injuring myself, but I eventually got to do it. For years after that, I still hated running, but I still had to do it. It wasn't until I took matters into my own hands that I was able to get better.  For years, I was made to train in groups who led the training based on their own abilities and just assumed that everybody else would be able to do it. Supplements | My Fitness Journey

When I started my fitness journey, I would try supplements here and there, but I wouldn't stick to any of them. I wasn't really keen on why I would need them and what they were good for. I would try protein powders and not like the taste and the kinds that we had were not even the optimal for me. And when I would try pre work, I would try them just for fun. The flavors were okay enough to be like "I can take this", but I never added it into my routine until years later. The first supplement that I would stick to somewhat is protein powder because I knew that you needed to feed the muscle for it to grow. So, I would add that in to help when I wasn't eating enough. More years later when I had issues getting the energy and the motivation to workout, I would add in some pre-workouts and there are a couple ones that I've tried that I liked and then there's some that I really did not like.
