Updated skincare routine | May 2024

Good morning, ladies! So last time I posted about the skin care routine it was BYOMA set that I found to see if I'd like the brand. Since then, I have gone to buy full size products, and this is what I have in my routine today. (I put this in order of how I use them)

  1. I start off with creamy jelly cleanser and tri-ceramide complex, licorice root, and green tea. It's a great gentle cleanser so it won't be able to take off all of your make up in the first go. It has a good lather and doesn't have any irritating fragrances.

  2. Next, I go in with the hydrating serum it also has the Tri-ceramide complex but with this one has squalene and glycerin in it. I like this one because it goes into the skin really easy and smooths on real quick. It makes this nice hydrating layer. I really love this specifically in the winter because it was just incredibly dry here in Colorado.

  3. Onto the real moisturizing product, the moisturizing gel sunscreen it also has a tri-ceramide complex but this one has hyaluronic acid and beta glucan. So, I got this one as opposed to a larger version of the one that came in the set because it has SPF30 with it and I wanted to combine my moisturizer and SPF so that's easier in the morning. I have one less product to add. My experience with this particular product is that this super easy to absorb into the skin and to just place on there. It doesn't feel sticky and I don't feel it on my skin. My skin absorbs it really quickly and I can quickly go on with my day.

  4. So, this next product and last product of the skin care routine is the liptide ph lip oil. This particular product was a little hard to find and once I found did it quickly sold out. It's a newer product and they announced it on their Instagram, and I was looking for it avidly and when I finally found it, it was not actually for sale yet, so I had to wait. I checked every day to get it and now that I've got it, it smells really good, it's super moisturizing, it's a PH lip oil so it adapts to your PH and gives you a nice pink tint. I really enjoyed this I try not to take it out with me because the packaging is super cute and I don't want to get it dirty and I work where I work with my hands a lot, but it smells super good and is super hydrating.

All in all I have constructed a really good routine and I love looking at it in my bathroom. I know that's not the most important part of a skin care routine but it really does help when I wake up in the morning and I'm like "oh it's time to put on my hot girl skin care routine" and then it's just like something that's really good. And they preach a lot about barrier boosting skin care so it's actually good for keeping your skin "strong" you could say and healing it as opposed to being super heavy on gimmicky things like exfoliating and peeling off dead skin and stuff like that. If you click on any of the links, I do get a commission if you buy anything, but these are all gonna send you straight to Ulta where I got most of my products from.

I hope you enjoyed. Stay hydrated. 🧉
